Early Years Teaching Assistant - Rochdale

Value Education are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in Early Years, at the Primary schools we support in the Rochdale area.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for education and be committed to helping each child in the most effective way depending on the individual needs.

Teaching Assistant duties:

Assisting the Class Teacher in preparing work for the lesson ahead
Ensuring the classroom is a tidy and safe environment for the children
Assisting with group activities
Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis
Support across the Nursery and Reception 
Teaching Assistant requirements:

Previous experience working with children
Confident in communicating with parents, pupils and members of staff
Be able to handle difficult situations efficiently
Be inspired to help students learn in new and exciting ways
Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent in childcare)
