Duties
* Assemble and fit components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
* Install machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
* Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
* Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Document work completed and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or engineering sector is preferred.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and machinery.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to the industry is advantageous.
