An innovative and inclusive secondary school in Cheltenham is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Design and Technology Teacher for a September start. The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and offers a diverse and forward-thinking curriculum with a strong focus on creativity, enterprise, and future career pathways.
You will teach Design and Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to deliver GCSE Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering. Depending on your expertise, you may also be involved in Key Stage 5 vocational or A-Level provision. The DT department is supported by modern workshops, 3D printers, CNC machinery, and CAD/CAM software.
As part of a well-established team, you will be responsible for delivering exciting and industry-relevant lessons that develop practical skills, design thinking, and real-world problem-solving. The school places strong emphasis on cross-curricular collaboration, project-based learning, and sustainability.
