Our client based in Rainham is looking for experienced Drivers Mate to strengthen their friendly team.
We are seeking good all-rounders with some solid warehouse experience, you should have a minimum of one year’s current experience working in a warehouse and be fully aware of health and safety in this environment.
You could be working both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard, tidying up, offloading vehicles (can be heavy at times) and general warehouse duties. The start is between 5am - 6am working as drivers mate, manually loading and offloading white goods from vehicle, a good level of English and Maths is required.
It would be ideal if you are very local, or have your own transport, due to the location of depot being a 25 minute walk from the nearest public transport link.
Candidate attributes:
* Aware of Health & Safety in the warehouse
* Good level of English and Maths
* Clear communication, able to follow instruction
* Reliable and a team player
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* PPE required - safety shoes and hi-vis vest.
Hours & Salary:
Hours are Monday – Friday, start between 5am/6am
Hourly rate: £12.21
* 28 days Annual Leave
