*About the role of Driver / Warehouse Sales (P&H) at JT Dove:*

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills who wants to work in a busy and varied role, providing excellent customer service.

*The main duties for this role include:*

· Providing support, working across the outside yard area and busy warehouse.

· Safe moving, storage and handling of stock, checking deliveries and coordinating customer orders as required.

· Assisting colleagues selling plumbing and heating products to a range of both retail and trade customers.

· Providing cover as a van driver, completing customer deliveries as required.

· Identifying process efficiencies as part of your day-to-day role.

· Being confident dealing with large volumes of deliveries and stock movement.

· Keeping the yard are clean and tidy.

· Locating stock correctly.

· Helping customers with sales queries and collecting orders.

· Delivering and collecting materials as instructed, ensuring a prompt and accurate delivery completing documentation accurately.

· Planning suitable routes having due regard for safe access, weight, height and width restrictions.

· Maintaining good customer relations.

· Maintaining the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition.

· Assisting in the correct and secure loading of vehicles to ensure compliance with current legislation.

*The ideal candidate will have:*

· Full UK Driving License

· Fork lift truck license – although full training can be provided.

· Class 2 HGV licence with CPC

· HIAB experience

· Experience with multi-drop deliveries.

· Excellent communication skills

· Provide excellent customer service within a fast-moving environment both face to face and over the phone.

· Previous relevant experience, ideally from a builder’s merchant or similar.

· Some existing knowledge of plumbing and heating products.

· Passion for being organised and hard working.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07.30am to 5.00pm plus alternate Saturdays 08.00am to 12.00pm.
