Are you a creative and inspiring Drama Teacher looking to nurture the next generation of performers, storytellers, and critical thinkers?

Start Date: September 2025
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire

The Opportunity

A vibrant and progressive independent school is seeking a Drama Teacher to join its innovative Performing Arts department from September 2025. This is a unique opportunity to shape a dynamic and inclusive drama curriculum in a school that values creativity, individuality, and student expression.

As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver engaging and imaginative lessons across Key Stages 3–5, supporting students to explore voice, movement, theatre-making, and the power of performance. With access to excellent facilities, student-led projects, and regular productions, you’ll play a central role in the cultural life of the school.

About the School

This is not your typical independent school. Set in a beautiful green campus near Abingdon, the school is known for its forward-thinking approach to education, where the arts are placed at the heart of learning. The school encourages collaboration, creativity, and curiosity, with an emphasis on well-being, social awareness, and self-expression.

Students are supported to take ownership of their learning, and teachers are given the autonomy to innovate, experiment, and inspire. The Performing Arts are a key pillar of the school’s identity, and drama plays an essential role in building confidence, empathy, and communication.
