The Company:  

CK Group are recruiting for a Development Technologist, to join a multinational corporation, specialising in the development and production of advanced thermoset composite materials, at their site in Nottinghamshire, on a permanent basis, for a salary from £35,000 - £45,000pa.  

Location:

This role is located in Nottinghamshire. The site is also easily commutable from Derbyshire and South Yorkshire.

Development Technologist Role:

To identify potential technological improvements and areas of potential R&D, in line with the company’s business strategy and market plan.
To deliver agreed R&D projects.
Involvement in Product Launch and related marketing activities.
Communicate the results of R&D projects through appropriate formats to a variety of audiences.
Support the Product Development team as required in line with the R&D roadmap.
Assist with the creation of the company’s Product Development objectives.Your Background:

To be considered for this position, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

Degree level qualification materials science / chemistry.
Industry experience.
Proven ability to develop resin formulations for prepreg applications.
Good presentation skills.
Knowledge of analytical techniques used for resin development.
Project Management experience.
Microsoft Office competent.
