Shift Pattern: Sunday - Tuesday + every other Wednesday
Working Hours: 07:00 - 19:00

About the Role
As a Despatch Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the despatch operations and managing a team of Despatch Operatives. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of the facility, maintaining stock levels, and coordinating deliveries efficiently. You'll also act as the key point of contact for your team and support Shift Management as needed. Rresponsible for team leadership, ensuring seamless communication between departments, and optimizing processes to maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Shift Management with daily planning and outload schedules
- Ensure picking is completed accurately and efficiently, using correct product rotation
- Maintain food safety and quality standards at all times
- Make sure all lorries are loaded with the correct paperwork in place
- Act as first point of contact for despatch team members
- Liaise with Production and Shift Management to resolve issues quickly
- Deputise for Despatch Shift Managers when required
- Lead by example and ensure audit readiness at all times
- Uphold health & safety and food safety procedures in line with company policies
- Report any food safety or product issues to management immediately

What We're Looking For
- Strong team player with excellent leadership skills
- Experience working with 3PLs and customer depot operations
- Good understanding of HACCP and GMP standards
- Able to take initiative and solve problems under pressure
- Experience managing a small team in a fast-moving warehouse/despatch environment
- First-class forklift (FLT) skills and knowledge of MHE operations
- Reliable, organised, and committed to high standards of performance and safety
