Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Designer
Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:
Designer position dealing with various roofing and cladding systems including: hot melt roofing, single-ply membranes, flat roofing, cladding, and rain screens
Reviewing scopes of work and liaise with clients to gain an understanding of the projects
Utilising AutoCAD and Revit to produce designs
Work closely with internal departments providing support and resolving queries
Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements
Attend weekly design meetings
Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
Estimating for projects ranging in value from £200k to £3m
The ideal applicant will be Designer
Roofing & Cladding Systems with:
Must have design experience within the UK construction market sector
Ideally will have experience dealing with hot melt roofing, single-ply membranes, flat roofing, cladding, and rain screens
Experienced user of AutoCAD / Revit
Must have a good understanding of technical drawings
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
High levels of organisation and attention to detail
Enthusiastic, team play, who works well individually also
