Role – Design Manager

Location – Kent and Hybrid

Package – 60-70K Basic, Company Car, Pension, Bonus, Annual Bonus, 26days annual leave, plus more

This is an exciting opportunity to join a world class engineering business operating within the Construction and Engineering sector on highly prestigious life science and pharmaceutical projects.

Responsibilities

* Effective delivery of multiple engineering design projects

* Lead the pre-construction design process

* Liaising with clients, client vendors, design teams and internal technical and commercial teams

* Travelling regionally to offices, client offices and sites

* Showing both technical and commercial awareness in the interest of relevant stake holders

* Design Compliance

Experience and Background

* Strong understanding of contractual administration, design and build, EPC’s and NEC contracts

* Strong Lead Design experience

* Understanding of life sciences, pharmaceutical or related industries and technologies

* RIBA, FEL and AEC knowledge

* Engineering MEP background

* Client Facing and communication skills

* Engineering qualification/degree
