Job Title: Design Manager - Façade
Location: Kensington, London
Salary: 55,000 - 65,000

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Design Manager specialising in Façade systems to join a dynamic and forward-thinking construction and architectural firm based in Kensington. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile commercial and residential developments across London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the façade design process from concept to completion, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout.
  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to deliver efficient, innovative, and compliant façade solutions.
  • Oversee external design consultants and subcontractors, managing deliverables, schedules, and technical compliance.
  • Attend site and client meetings, providing technical advice and resolving design issues.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to relevant building codes, safety standards, and sustainability objectives.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in façade design and management within the UK construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of curtain walling, cladding systems, and building envelopes.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
