We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer for our client located in Newark. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, ideally within the food manufacturing sector.
THE ROLE The ideal Design Engineer will be enthusiastic about using their skills and expertise in a forward-thinking environment, key responsibilities include:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet client requirements.
Manage design projects from concept through to production.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
Design layouts or redesign layouts to improve efficiency and functionality.
Visiting sites, sometimes involving overnight stays.
THE CANDIDATE The successful Design Engineer should have excellent communication and teamwork skills and have the following skills and experience:
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solid Edge, or similar.
