Design Draughtsperson

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Design Draughtsperson to their team on a permanent basis. You'll be based in the Bridge of Don area.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am -2pm (flexible start and finish times)

Salary: £30K - £40K

Daily Duties -

Develop accurate representations of product components, assemblies, and systems
Create 3D models and detailed 2D drawings that adhere to industry standards and company guidelines
Generate technical documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs) and assembly instructions
Ensure all drawings and documents comply with relevant codes and standards
Manage and update design files e.g. revisions and changes throughout the product lifecycle
Work closely with Engineers to understand design requirements, specifications, and participate in design reviewsCandidate Requirements -

Minimum 3 years' experience with a draughtsperson or design focused role
Able to create detailed design drawings and technical documents
Experience using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault
Knowledge of drafting standards e.g. BS8888Benefits -
