Design Coordinator

Job Description Our client, a renowned civil engineering and infrastructure specialist, is currently seeking a Design Coordinator to join their Southern Region team, located in either St Albans or Reading.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCoordinate design in line with budget and programme, ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards and specifications.\nSupport the Design Manager in adhering to CDM regulations and discharging Principal Designer duties.\nPromote safety, buildability, environmental best practices, and sustainability through design.\nProduce design plans and briefs.\nCoordinate external design consultants and internal technical, operational, maintenance, and strategic stakeholders.\nEnsure site investigations and surveys meet project requirements and that technical queries are addressed.\nContribute to construction planning activities and stakeholder management.\nParticipate in assurance, governance and review processes, including producing relevant deliverables.\nManage design changes, risks and opportunities, ensuring quality in design.\nCoordinate and support the preparation of handover documentation.\n\nJob Re...
