Job Description DESIGN APPROVER OR AUTHORISER
Up to £52 per hour (via Umbrella)
Onsite in Broughton
Play a lead role in delivering cutting-edge structural design for major aerospace programmes
Initial contract until 31/12/#####
BPSS clearance sponsored by the client
Applicants need to hold an Airbus recognised Design Approval or Authorisation Signatory
ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client is a global aerospace leader, designing and manufacturing some of the world’s most advanced aircraft. At their Filton site, they are delivering next-generation structural solutions for key programmes. Due to ongoing expansion in this area, they are looking to appoint a Design Structures Approver or Authoriser to provide technical leadership and design governance within high-value, multi-disciplinary projects.
THE DESIGN APPROVER OR AUTHORISER ROLE:
Own and lead the design activity ensuring product meets airworthiness and design quality requirements
Deliver technical studies, trade-offs and design investigations
Govern mod opening, DFM release, and closure to deliver change on time and to cost
Lead internal and external designers with a focus on lean engineering principles
Ensure governance of design maturity reviews in line with comp...
