Salary: £31,650 – £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)

About the Role:
Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Design and Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Darlington. This full-time position offers a temporary contract with the potential to become permanent, providing an excellent opportunity for both experienced educators and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to make a significant impact within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential in Design and Technology.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE in Design and Technology or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of the UK Design and Technology curriculum.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
