GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Deputy Curriculum Manager to our client based in Rotherham. The Deputy Curriculum Manager will support the Curriculum Manager ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning and assessment across the Engineering and Construction departments. They will take a lead role in quality assurance processes and also assist with the day-to-day management of staff.

Main Duties of the Deputy Curriculum Manager:

* Lead on processes designed to ensure teaching quality and the achievement of student outcomes, working with the Professional Practice Team
* Oversee the development of curriculum plans, schemes of learning and assessment strategies
* Support in the implementation of T-Levels, Apprenticeships and other vocational qualifications
* Support the Curriculum Manager with the day-to-day operations of the Construction Department - this will include line managing staff
* Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders and industry partners

Role Requirements:
* Experience of curriculum leadership
* Vocational qualification in Engineering or Construction
* Experience of coordinating internal quality assurance processes which should include standardisation and moderation
* Experience of operational delivery through the effective planning and monitoring of performance against action plans and targets
* Track record of excellence in teaching
