Customs Data Lead

We’re looking for an experienced Customs Master Data Lead to oversee and enhance the integrity of customs master data, which includes tariff classification, customs valuation, and country of origin—the three essential pillars of customs compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

Reviewing and maintaining accurate Customs Master Data, ensuring alignment with evolving customs regulations

*

Supporting SAP GTS data input and requirements

*

Promoting the use of standard operating procedures for classification, origin, and valuation

*

Assisting with data cleansing and migration into SAP systems

*

Designing robust processes for assessing and documenting customs master data

*

Contributing to the classification of new projects to support licensing accuracy and compliance

*

Training and advising the Customs Operations team on data requirements and best practices

You’ll be part of a team working toward excellence in customs compliance and will have the opportunity to pursue or advance your professional qualifications in this area.

What We’re Looking For:

*

Demonstrated experience in customs or trade compliance, either in a corporate environment, HMRC, or a professional services setting

*

Strong understanding of HMRC regulations related to tariff classification, valuation, and country of origin

*

Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously

*

Excellent communication and reporting skills

*

Familiarity with customs software or systems is a plus

Preferably holds or is pursuing a professional qualification in Customs Compliance or a related discipline
