They are currently looking for a Credit Controller to join their friendly and professional team. This is a vital role that supports the financial stability of our organisation, working closely with tenants to manage rental and non-rental payments with empathy, efficiency, and fairness.
Key Responsibilities for Credit Controller

  • Monitor and manage rent and non-rent arrears
  • Communicate proactively with tenants regarding payments and arrears
  • Negotiate realistic payment plans where needed
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports
  • Collaborate with departments such as Lettings, Accounts, and Maintenance
  • Ensure all activity is compliant with relevant legislation
  • Educate tenants on budgeting and financial management
  • Provide clear, timely updates to management through reporting
Essential
  • Experienced in credit control, property management, or financial services (2+ years preferred)
  • Organised, reliable, and meticulous with your records
  • A natural communicator with strong negotiation skills
  • Empathetic and solution-focused, even in challenging conversations
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Confident using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets
