We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools on a supply basis. Opportunities include day-to-day assignments, short-term placements, and longer-term roles.
Role Overview – What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into classrooms to supervise lessons when teachers are absent, across Key Stages 3 and 4. Responsibilities include:

Taking class registers and delivering set lesson plans.
*
Supporting pupils’ understanding and engagement with the work provided.
*
Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with the school’s policies.
*
Addressing any immediate issues or concerns that arise during lessons.
*
Creating a calm, productive learning environment.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for confident, motivated individuals with a passion for education and the ability to engage young people.
You must have a degree to be considered for this role.
Additional qualities and experience we’re looking for:

Strong communication and organisational skills.
*
A proactive, friendly, and professional attitude.
*
Confidence to work independently and manage classroom dynamics.
*
Previous experience working with young people (preferred).
*
A background or interest in education, childcare, psychology, SEN, or similar areas is desirable.
