Job Opportunity: Cover Supervisor - South Liverpool Secondary Schools
Location: South Liverpool
Start Date: ASAP / September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time (via Tradewind Recruitment)
School Type: Mixed Secondary Schools (Ages 11-18)
Are you interested in a flexible, rewarding role in education? Tradewind Recruitment Liverpool is currently seeking enthusiastic and confident individuals to work as Cover Supervisors, supporting a variety of secondary schools across South Liverpool.
This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover staff who want to make a difference in the classroom and gain valuable experience in secondary education.
About the Role:
Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment
Support students in understanding and completing set work
Work across Key Stages 3 and 4, with occasional opportunities in KS5
Build rapport with students and staff, becoming a trusted presence in school
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Experience working with young people in any setting
- An enhanced child-only DBS or willingness to process one
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
A proactive and positive approach to classroom supervision
A genuine interest in working in secondary education
