GSL Education are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools across Middlesbrough. This role is ideal for graduates, support staff, or individuals interested in education looking to step into a teaching support role where they can truly make a difference.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining an orderly environment. While you will not be required to teach new content, you will be expected to engage students, manage behaviour, and ensure effective learning takes place.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences.
Deliver pre-prepared materials and manage classroom activities.
Ensure students remain on task and work to the best of their ability.
Follow school behaviour and safeguarding policies.
Provide feedback to teaching staff on student participation and conduct.
