EAP Counsellor (Onsite)
Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Onsite
We are actively looking for a skilled EAP Counsellor to join Workplace Options and deliver vital mental health support onsite. This is a full-time role where you'll provide direct services onsite in accordance with the company's needs, serving as an integral part of the EAP. Your responsibilities will include conducting psychosocial assessments, managing clinical cases, and devising group trainings or activities aimed at enhancing mental wellbeing in the workplace.
Provides an integrated EAP service consisting of intake and assessment, support, triage, referral, clinical case management and crisis management.
Delivers counselling services in a responsive, efficient, ethical, and professional manner. Adheres to the applicable ethical, therapeutic, and legal standards, which govern service delivery, as well as policies, procedures, and laws, which apply to the organization as appropriate.

Performs initial assessment/intake, crisis intervention, information and referral, and counselling services to clients. Minimum of a diploma in psychology, counselling, or related field.
At least two years directly related experience providing counselling or mental health services.
Accredited with one of the main counselling or psychology accrediting bodies.
Training and presentation skills.
Experience working with employee populations and legal/HR teams preferred.
