Job Description Position: Controls Engineer (Panel Building & Automation)\n\nLocation: Nottingham\n\nSalary: Circa £80k DOE + Company Vehicle\n\nOur partner, an Electrical Engineering Contractor with over 25 years of industry expertise, is seeking a Controls Engineer with a strong background in panel building, wiring, and assembly, alongside PLC programming and electrical design. \n\nThis role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands on panel work while contributing to automation and control system development.\n\nAs a Controls Engineer, your duties will involve building, wiring, and testing electrical control panels and troubleshooting panel faults. You will modify or create PLC programs.
Designing schematics in AutoCAD and performing on site commissioning.\n\nWorking closely with electricians and engineers, you will ensure seamless installation and operation of automation systems.
