Job Description Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Small Works, Retail, Housing, Maintenance and Manufactured Joinery. ​We employ over 250 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.\n\nDue to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager who has a minimum 3 year’s experience as a Contracts Manager for a main contractor.\n\nRole & Responsibilities\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for\n\n * Managing, motivating and communicating to site teams on multiple projects.\n\n * Cost control of projects, minimising costs and maximising production.\n\n * Liaising with Estimating and Surveying Departments to ensure commercial viability of projects.\n\n * Taking active role in Clark Contracts Supply Chain Management Initiative to ensure relationships are developed with subcontractors.\n\n * Ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements.\n\n * Fully embrace the companies Customers 1st campaign to continually improve the way we deal with our Customers.\n\nCandidate\n\nTo be considered for this position the candidate should\n\n * Be able to demonstrate a proven track record in completing projects to tight time scales and deadlines.\n\n * Hold a curre...
