We are currently recruiting on behalf of our well established and privately owned client within the Grantham area, who are looking to recruit an experienced Contract Supervisor to join their existing team on a Permanent basis.
Our client have a great reputation and are a successful and caring contractor, who employ over 200 staff and have been delivering a range of high quality construction based services for over 40 years.
The company are looking for an experienced Contract Supervisor who can carry out the daily supervision of contracts / projects and meet the required Operational and Customer Service performance based targets. Daily duties will include;
* Site Supervision/visit of works
* Day-to-day management of operatives/sub-contractors; respond to queries and interviewing new operatives
* Monitor daily works allocation to maximise productivity
* Scheduling / Programming / Materials ordering of necessary works
* Ensure target dates are adhered to and any variations notified immediately
* Monitor and assess operatives performance to achieve greatest efficiency and outputs
* Complete all paperwork including labour returns, timesheets, H&S Monitoring forms, van inspections etc.
* Ensure Health & Safety & Environmental procedures and standards are adhered to
* Liaise with Client Representatives as required over day to day issues
* Assist where required in the absence of other Supervisors
Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications required;
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a surveying and/or supervisory role
* Experience working within Social Housing, Roofing or Construction based sectors
* SSSTS / SMSTS
* First Aid & Fire Marshal trained
