Contentious Insolvency Manager

Our client is looking for a Manager to join their Contentious Insolvency team in London. This team focuses on contentious insolvency and fraud investigations with a demonstrated history of recovering assets from both the UK and overseas.
They deal with cross-border issues, complex litigation and numerous contentious issues, as well as liquidations and high-profile bankruptcies.
You will need to be analytical minded with report writing experience as well as having strong interpersonal and management skills, to profitably manage a large portfolio of cases, ensuring both excellent client service and making a significant contribution towards the overall future development and success of the team, office, and firm.
You'll make an impact by:
Planning assignments in accordance with the firm's standard procedures and relevant statutory and extra statutory obligations, and to confirm arrangements with the client, company, or appointer, including likely costs and billing arrangements.
Managing a large portfolio of insolvency cases, including compulsory liquidations creditors voluntary liquidations and bankruptcies.
Briefing staff on cases, to supervise and control the completion of work and to undertake 'on the job' training and appraisals where appropriate.
