Construction Supervisor – Contract with Progression | East Fife 🔧
Contract Role | Potential to Go Permanent | Step Up to Site Manager
I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in East Fife who is looking for a skilled Construction Supervisor to support ongoing project works on a high-profile industrial site.
This is a temporary contract role to begin with, but for the right candidate, there is a clear path to permanent employment and promotion to Site Manager.
If you’re an experienced supervisor with an electrical or project engineering background and you’re looking for a long-term opportunity with real career growth, this is one to consider.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Support the Project Manager in delivering key milestones on time and safely
🔹 Coordinate with multiple third-party contractors and manage scopes of work
🔹 Oversee and support electrical installation and construction in a live process environment
🔹 Ensure safe working practices are followed on site
🔹 Interpret and work with electrical drawings including single line diagrams, layout drawings, and loop diagrams
🔹 Keep all stakeholders aligned and updated throughout project phases
What You’ll Bring
✅ Strong experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role in industrial or process environments
✅ Solid understanding of electrical systems and infrastructure, including copper and fibre networks
✅ Familiarity with working in regulated or COMAH environments
✅ Ability to read technical electrical drawings and coordinate installation work
✅ Proactive communication and organisational skills
✅ Safety-first mindset with knowledge of industry standards
