Construction Project Manager

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the onsite delivery of a heritage residential development in South west London. Reporting into the Project Director, the role will involve managing the construction phase of a complex scheme that includes the restoration and conversion a listed building into high-quality homes.

This is a key position reporting directly to the Project Director, with responsibility for coordinating the build team and ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The successful candidate will have a solid track record in heritage-led construction and a strong understanding of the technical and regulatory requirements involved in working with historic structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the onsite build programme, ensuring quality, safety, and progress are maintained throughout.
Oversee restoration works in line with listed building consent and conservation best practices.
Liaise with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and conservation officers to ensure compliance and consistency.
Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the site team and heritage trades.
Monitor build quality and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Report regularly to the Project Director on progress, risks, and resource needs.Candidate Requirements:

Demonstrable experience delivering heritage or listed building projects within the residential sector.
Strong knowledge of conservation techniques, traditional materials, and regulatory compliance for historic buildings.
SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certification.
Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
