We’re enabling a zero carbon, lower cost energy future for all, and br working hard to decarbonise the planet for generations to come. /p p strong About the role: /strong br br Day to day you’ll aid in the development and maintenance of a br surveillance framework that meets Drax’s regulatory obligations to monitor br trade and order activities for market abuse and facilitate with advisory and br assurance compliance activities across the group’s trading and generation br businesses. br br Using your trade surveillance system experience you will br investigate alerts and calibrate abuse patterns, and feed this information to br the business as required. br br You’ll provide support in the development and maintenance of an br effective compliance framework that meets Drax’s regulatory, industry codes and br generation licence obligations, protecting the business against regulatory br sanctions and reputational risk to preserve Drax’s licence to operate. br br You’ll demonstrate an understanding of energy/financial wholesale br markets and will increase your knowledge in the regulated risks associated with br Energy Market regulatory framework, including but not limited to REMIT, MAR, br MiFID II, EMIR, TCLC, S&P and FSMA/RAO. br br Your negotiation and communication skills will be key to success br in this role, working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders throughout the br business, including Generation, IT, Treasury, Trading & support functions, br building trust, confidence and respect whilst challenging the status quo. br br strong Who we’re looking for: br /strong br You’ll be educated to degree level with hands on experience using br a Trade Surveillance system in your previous role. Experience using the Scila br system would be ideal, however we are more interested in your br Data Analytics experience and ability to model and understand br complex data sets and identify solutions to data queries!
