Position: Commercial Vehicle Fitter/ mig welder

Location: Sheffield (Ideal for candidates based in Sheffield, Chesterfield or Rotherham)

Type: Temporary (with potential to become permanent after 12 weeks)

We are working leading provider of commercial vehicle solutions, who are seeking a skilled Commercial Vehicle Fitter / mig welder o join their dynamic team. This role will be based on-site, with the opportunity for a permanent position after 12 weeks.

The ideal candidate will have:

· Experience with MIG welding, and proficiency in using all related welding equipment.

· Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.

· A UK Driver's License is required, and an HGV license is a bonus.

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Vehicle fitter / mig welder you will:

· Manufacture and assemble bespoke bodywork including tippers, plant vehicles

· Interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide your work.

· Perform MIG welding and assemble vehicle body components.

· Utilize a variety of welding tools, hand tools, and power tools to complete tasks.

· Contribute to sub-assembly work, as well as refurbishments and new vehicle builds.
