Our client delivers a significant number of renewals and enhancements to keep their transport network operating efficiently. The Commercial Manager will lead the commercial management within the client's Programme Management Office (PMO) to ensure the successful delivery of their programme and provide a comprehensive, accurate, and value-driven service.
The role covers all aspects of commercial management, leading programme cost tracking and budget management, and proactively providing guidance and advice to project teams on contract management while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and procedures.
Key Accountabilities
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Lead and deliver all aspects of commercial management from the inception of a project through to completion.
Actively support the Projects team and manage commercial staff on technically complex projects.
Prepare and manage project budgets, cost forecasting, monitoring project costs, and implementing cost control measures to ensure projects stay within budget.
Monitor, document, and report upon contract progress and performance indicators.
Support and advise on contracting strategy for the projects.
