With a strong commitment to innovation and excellence, they are looking for a talented Commercial Contracts Manager to join their dynamic Procurement Commercial & Legal team.
Position Overview: As Contracts Manager you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of contracts, negotiations, and compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to secure optimal contract terms while minimising risk. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to gather contract requirements and provide expert guidance on contract terms and conditions, developing a strong, effective relationship within the Commercial team.
- Conduct thorough contract reviews to identify potential risks and recommend necessary changes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable contract terms and pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation.
- Act as a point of contact for contract-related inquiries and dispute resolution.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in contract management, procurement, or legal roles within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and relevant regulations.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Previous experience of negotiating complex framework contracts
- Good understanding of contract law
- Significant Supplier & Contract management experience
- Experience managing large scale outsourced IT contracts
- Confident self-starter able to build relationships with key stakeholders
- MCIPS, RICS, IoSCM, LLB or other relevant professional qualifications
- Experience of working in or with a Joint Venture organisation or in a similar multi-stakeholder environment
