Blue Arrow is recruiting for a Permanent Coachbuilder in Perth!!
Pay: £19.26 per hour
Location: Perth
Hours: 45 hours per week
Duties:
Observe, identify, and report bodywork defects or signs of potential failure.
Perform vehicle manufacturer and company-specified modifications as required.
Mark out, cut, and shape sheet metal, pillar sections, plywood, and glass fibre panels in preparation for vehicle fitting.
Fit panels to vehicle body frames as needed.
Repair accident-damaged vehicles by removing damaged panels and structural components, straightening where possible, and replacing parts as necessary.
Conduct body repairs identified during vehicle inspections.
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
Carry out structural body repairs using welding equipment.
Repair and refinish damaged paintwork, including full resprays and colour matching.
Manufacture, repair, and maintain body fittings and accessories.
What We're Looking For:
A strong engineering background with experience in vehicles - whether it's buses, HGVs/LGVs, trucks, haulage, automotive, plant, rail, or agricultural equipment - if it moves, your experience counts!
A commitment to delivering high standards of engineering maintenance and repair.
