You have the opportunity to apply for a CNC Turner role with an organisation that produces highly intricate components and assemblies for the Space, Military Aerospace and Life Science markets. The CNC Turner will be responsible for:
Setting up and operating various lathes
Editing and adjusting programmes at the machine where required using Fanuc controls - it is not essential to have Fanuc experience
Producing intricate components for use in quality critical markets such as Space and Military Aerospace
Machining small components to tolerances within 5 microns (0.005mm / 0.19 thou) - training will be provided to get this this level of accuracy
In-process inspection using CMM and various hand measuring instruments
