CNC Turner - Welwyn Garden City - £45,000Shorterm Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a precision engineering company based in Welwyn Garden City, seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their team on a permanent basis.Key Requirements:Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating Fanuc-controlled lathe machinesHands-on experience with the following machines:- Doosan Lynx 220LM- Doosan Puma 2600Y- Doosan Puma 2600SYComfortable working with a variety of materials including plastics and metalsExperience with CAM software (EdgeCAM) is highly advantageousAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsJob Details:Permanent positionSalary: £45,000 per yearAlternating day shifts:- Early Shift: Mon-Thu 6:00am-2:30pm, Fri 6:00am-1:15pm- Late Shift: Mon-Thu 11:00am-8:00pm, Fri 6:00am-1:15pm25 days of annual leaveImmediate interviews and start dates availableIf you're interested, please apply with your most recent CV and I'll be in touch shortly....
