CNC Setter – Index Multi-Spindle (MS32)
Location: Brownhills (Just outside Walsall)
Salary: £18-£22 per hour + Overtime (x1.33)
Hours: Monday–Thursday 07:30–16:30, Friday 07:30–13:00 (Optional Saturdays)
Holidays: 25 days annual leave (+ Bank Holidays)
Reporting to: Operations Director
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Setter with strong knowledge of Index multi-spindle machines to join a leading manufacturer based in Brownhills. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, growing team in a role offering variety, responsibility, and technical challenge.
️ Key Responsibilities:
Setting and operating Index MS32 multi-spindle CNC machines
Working with brass and stainless steel to produce valve tips for high-volume production
Using Siemens control systems for online or offline programming
Supporting and mentoring other CNC Setters on site where required
Conducting basic quality checks and first-off inspections
Ensuring efficient machine uptime and resolving issues where needed
✅ Requirements:
Proven experience with Index multi-spindle CNC machines – ideally MS32 models
Confident using Siemens CNC controls
Experience working in high-volume, precision manufacturing
Ability to train and support junior or less experienced setters
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
What’s on Offer:
Competitive hourly rate of up £22.00 per hour
Overtime available at 1.33x standard rate
Day shift only – no nights!
Early finish on Fridays
25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
