Contek Recruitment are currently working with a precision engineering company, located in Luton, Bedfordshire. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a CNC Miller to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.
ABOUT THE COMPANY: Our client is a leading provider of precision machined components located in Luton, in the heart of Bedfordshire. They have been proud to offer exceptional subcontract machining services to a diverse range of industries, including Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, and more.
PAY: £17 - £18 per hour (Depending on experience)
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday (6am until 4pm) - NO FRIDAYS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Some programming of new programs using Fanuc controls.
* Setting up of CNC milling machines.
* Some operating when required.
* Self inspection of parts and components.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to read and understand detailed engineering drawings.
* Experience using Fanuc controls.
* Experience working on 4 and 5-axis machinery.
* A committed and driven approach to work.
* To have a hardworking approach towards daily requirements.
* To be able to work unsupervised.
* To be positive and self-motivated
