CNC Miller

We’re on the lookout for a skilled CNC Miller to join our growing team! If you’re experienced in programming using Siemens 828D controls and confident with offline CAD/CAM software (ideally Fusion 360), we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

As our new CNC Miller, you’ll be working on a range of precision components for industries including [aerospace, automotive, medical – edit as applicable]. You’ll take projects from drawing to finished part, programming both at the machine and offline.

Responsibilities:

Programming and setting CNC milling machines using Siemens 828D controls

*

Creating and editing CNC programs using Fusion 360 (or similar CAD/CAM software)

*

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

*

Selecting appropriate tooling and workholding

*

Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections

*

Working closely with production and design teams to meet tight tolerances and deadlines

What We’re Looking For:

*

Proven CNC milling experience (minimum 3 years preferred)

*

Strong programming skills on Siemens 828D controls

*

Proficiency in Fusion 360 (or other CAM platforms)

*

Solid understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T

*

A hands-on, problem-solving approach with excellent attention to detail

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a small, skilled team
