We are recruiting for an Established Toolmakers, renowned for delivering dynamic tooling across the UK and internationally. We are looking for a skilled Toolmaker / CNC Miller Machinist - Programmer to join our growing team and manufacture bespoke components that make a real impact.

Who Are We Looking For?
An innovator with a passion for engineering and problem-solving. You are a skilled machinist with over 4 years of experience working as a Toolmaker / CNC Miller Machinist - Programmer. You possess a solid foundation in CNC machining with 3D experience, along with strong engineering know-how. You thrive on precision, are detail-oriented, and enjoy working both autonomously and collaboratively. You are comfortable with managing your own workload and consistently meeting high-quality standards.

Key Requirements :

* Experience : 4+ years in a CNC Machinist Programmer / Toolmaker role.

* Qualifications : Time-served Tool Maker qualifications or successful completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship.

* CNC Programming : 4 + years’ experience (preferred).

* 3D CAD Cam : 1 + years’ experience (preferred).

* Skills : Strong understanding of CNC machining centres, mechanical drawings, and bespoke component manufacturing.

* Knowledge : ISO9001 quality standards and ability to work with tight tolerances.

* Knowledge : Hurco programming Winmax desirable but not essential.

* Mindset : A curious, problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail.

* Communication : Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally across teams.

Role & Responsibilities :
You will play a hands-on role within our Manufacturing/Toolroom department. The role involves :

* Setting, programming, and operating CNC milling machines.

* Working with a variety of materials and producing precision parts daily.

* Ensuring machine utilisation is maximised and downtime minimised.

* Inspecting your own work to ensure it meets ISO9001 standards.

* Working with engineering drawings and tight tolerances.

* Supporting other departments and collaborating with team members across the company
