CNC Miller CAD/CAM Programmer

Mazco Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company seeking an experienced CNC Miller CAD/CAM Programmer to join their growing team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Miller who can program offline from scratch using CAD/CAM software. You’ll be responsible for producing precision components and will work closely with the engineering team to create efficient, high-quality CNC programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Offline programming of CNC milling machines from scratch

*

Use of CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360 experience desirable, but other software will be considered)

*

Setting and operating CNC mills

*

Editing and optimizing programs for quality and efficiency

*

Basic use of Siemens controls on the shop floor – training provided where required

*

Working from technical drawings and engineering specifications

What We’re Looking For:

*

Proven experience as a CNC Miller and Programmer

*

Confident in using offline programming software

*

Working knowledge of Fusion 360 is a bonus, but not essential

*

Basic experience with Siemens controls or willingness to learn

*

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work

*

A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

Shift & Pay:

*

Day shift position

*

Hourly rate: £16.00 – £21, depending on experience

*

Plenty of overtime available – up to 15 hours per week, including weekends
