Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Salary: £15.00 - £19.50 Per Hour, Depending on Experience.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Overtime Available.

Job Description:

The company are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating and setting CNC machining centres. This role involves producing precision components through various machining processes using 3-axis and 5-axis machining centres, with Fanuc and Heidenheim controls, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

The CNC Machinist will work with a variety of materials, including Aluminium, Stainless steel and general engineering steels, and will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines.

About The Role:

* Operate CNC Milling machines, 3-axis and 5-axis to produce components according to specifications.

* Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes.

* Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.

* Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs.

* Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality.

* Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Candidate Requirements:

* Proficient in basic math for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.

* Experience with tooling and milling, is highly desirable. Programming experience would be advantageous but is not essential, programming both at the machine and using offline cam software.

* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively.

* Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in machining operations.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.

* Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

* Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
