CNC Machinist – Late Shift
Oxfordshire
Hastrec is recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join an engineering business based in Oxfordshire.
This CNC Machinist role involves working only 4 days per week from Monday – Thursday and on a 15:00pm – 01:00am shift.
Main Duties:
* Set up and operate CNC Turning and/or CNC Milling machines.
* Manufacture various precision products and tooling.
* Machining to tight tolerances.
* Load, run and optimise CNC programs.
* General inspection duties using various measurement equipment.
* Support stock control relating to tooling and materials.
* Ensure relevant documentation is completed.
* Routine maintenance checks on machinery.
Desired Skills & Experience:
* Engineering qualification, apprenticeship or similar.
* Comfortable setting and operating multi-axis CNC Machines.
* Exposure to working with steels and aluminium alloys ideally.
* Capable of reading and understanding engineering diagrams.
* Using various measuring equipment and knowledge of inspection methods.
