Location: Eastfield, Glasgow, G72 area

Hours: 37 per week; Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:30pm & Friday 8am – 1pm

CMM Inspector Responsibilities:

Carry out first-off, in-process, and batch inspections of machined components using a wide range of precision measurement tools.
Operate and program CMM equipment, selecting the correct probes and attachments to ensure accurate and efficient inspection.
Develop and document fixturing setups for each product to ensure repeatability and consistency in measurement.
Produce clear, detailed inspection reports, capturing both customer-specific and internal manufacturing requirements.
Review CMM data, identifying and reporting any non-conforming dimensions or trends approaching tolerance limits; liaise with production teams to drive timely corrective actions.
Evaluate and optimise CMM programs, aiming to reduce cycle times without compromising measurement integrity.
