Join a Leading consultancy organisation looking to recruit in their Cloud & Infrastructure Team and Shape the Future of Technology. We're looking for a talented and experienced Cloud Engineer with strong VMware expertise to join a fast-growing engineering team focused on delivering modern, scalable cloud solutions. This is not a support or maintenance role. You'll work on high-impact, specialised projects that transform clients' infrastructure using VMware and Microsoft Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Migrations: Lead seamless migration of application workloads to AVS and other public cloud platforms.
Infrastructure Modernisation: Help clients evolve from legacy VMware setups to scalable, modern Azure AVS solutions.
Cloud Deployments: Work closely with DevOps and SRE teams to ensure automated, secure, and optimised platform delivery.
VMware Platform Optimisation: Improve performance, automation, and resilience across hybrid cloud environments.
Skills & Experience:
Expert knowledge of VMware technologies - including Aria Suite, Cloud Foundation, vSphere, and vSAN.
Strong experience with VMware NSX-T and software-defined networking/security.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
Experience across multi-cloud environments including AWS and GCP.
Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, with practical experience in agile teams.
Professional communication skills, with the ability to document, present, and collaborate effectively
