Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

A well-established property developer based in Norwich is looking to appoint an experienced Clerk of Works to join their team. The business works across new build housing developments, residential property investments, and public sector property management.

This role is suited to someone with a strong background in construction quality assurance, who is confident in inspecting works on-site and providing clear, accurate reports.

Key responsibilities:

Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications

*

Monitor standards of workmanship and materials

*

Manage defect periods, identify issues, and ensure they are resolved and signed off

*

Witness site testing and commissioning

*

Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers

*

Review and provide feedback on O&M manuals and homeowner guides

*

Record and follow up on client issues during the defect period

*

Provide technical advice and support to internal teams

*

Stay up to date with building regulations and construction standards

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Clerk of Works or in a similar site inspection role

*

Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and quality standards

*

Good communication and reporting skills

*

Ability to solve problems on-site and recommend solutions

*

A customer-focused and detail-oriented approach
