FM Search & Select Ltd are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Cleaning Manager to lead cleaning operations at a large facility. In this role, you will oversee a dedicated team, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service delivery. You’ll play a key part in maintaining a productive and efficient environment, while also supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead, support, and motivate a cleaning team to deliver consistent performance and maintain a positive working environment.

Scheduling & Deployment: Manage staff rotas and resource deployment effectively, adjusting to operational needs and managing ad hoc requests as required.

*

Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong working relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met and communication remains clear and responsive.

*

Operational Support: Handle queries and requests promptly, maintaining regular contact via phone and email.

*

Quality & Compliance: Conduct regular audits and safety checks, upholding compliance with company policies, cleaning standards, and health & safety regulations.

Health & Safety Advocacy: Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings, model safe behaviour, and take corrective actions when needed.

*

Reporting & Payroll: Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure accurate payroll records and operational reporting.

*

Representation: Represent the company in meetings and operational discussions, promoting high standards and best practices.

*

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and team performance.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic professional who thrives in a leadership role and has a passion for delivering excellent service.

Essential:

*

Previous experience managing or supervising a team

*

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

*

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Desirable:

*

Experience in a cleaning management or facilities-based role

*

Background in industrial or factory environments

*

Audit or health & safety experience (e.g., IOSH qualification)

*

Confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels
