Our client is a well established family run business based in the Rochdale / Oldham area. They are looking to recruit a reliable and professional cleaner to work at their site offices across their construction sites in and around the Rochdale, Oldham, Salford & Manchester area.
Job Description:
As a Construction and Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and presentable environment across various commercial premises and post-construction sites. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform deep cleaning of construction sites post-build, including debris removal and dusting.
* Clean and sanitize commercial spaces including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
* Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor polishers, and pressure washers.
* Remove stickers, paint marks, and construction residue from surfaces.
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
* Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in construction or commercial cleaning preferred.
* Good physical fitness and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
* Strong work ethic and reliability.
* Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision.
* White Card or other relevant safety certifications (for construction sites) is a plus not essential.
* Driver’s licence required.
