Cleaner

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in West Lothian, is currently looking to recruit a Cleaner on an ad hoc basis on a rate of £12.56/hour PAYE. This role will be based across various locations in West Lothian - typically Livingston, Bathgate and West Lothian.
 
Responsibilities:
 
- To undertake as part of a team, the cleaning of any unit to ensure it is kept clean and of hygienic condition while maintaining a quality service.
- To follow cleaning specifications.
- The use of Electrical Cleaning Equipment.
- Where required, the security premises and contents including the operation of fire and burglar alarm and the key holding responsibility.
- Duties may vary between term and closure period in schools and colleges and apply to all associated units.
- Undertake tasks and use of machinery and equipment as directed while always ensuring that health and Safety Guidance is adhered to.
 
Essential Skills:
 
- Willingness to work a flexible work pattern including evenings and weekends
- PVG certificate required.
 
Desirable Skills:
 
- Experience in the cleaning industry or trained to BICS Operators Proficiency Stage 1 preferred but not essential
