Rapid Recruit are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Nelson.
The successful candidate will be working within a small team, where they will be responsible for collecting Domestic and Commercial Waste in and around the local areas.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
* Transporting goods and materials to specified destinations, adhering to planned routes and schedules
* Ensuring timely delivery of goods, managing time effectively to meet deadlines
* Loading and unloading goods, securing loads to prevent damage during transit
* Completing and submitting all required paperwork such as delivery notes, timesheets and vehicle checklists.
Qualifications
Due to the nature of the work, the candidate must be happy to work in all weathers and be flexible as they may be required to work as a Loader when necessary.
A CPC card, a tachograph card, and a valid and in-date licence are essential for this role.
Position Details
The working hours are Days Monday to Friday.
The rate of pay is £13.50 per hour.
This role is temporary but ongoing at the moment.
